Las posibilidades de aplicar y combinar baldosas cerámicas son infinitas. Cada pieza individual actúa como un punto de partida para dar vida a patrones caprichosos, colores vibrantes y formas geométricas.
When installing ceramics in both indoor and outdoor spaces, the variety of formats and styles allows us to take advantage of its technical and aesthetic properties achieving dazzling designs that no other surface material can offer.
Below we analyze eight different methods for installing ceramic tiles and the stunning looks they offer as a result:

Horizontal Placement
Ceramic tiles are placed one after the other in a single straight line, making regular parallel rows. This installation is best produced with traditional subway tiles to achieve a sense of harmony and order.

Vertical Straight Lay
This installation is a modern take on horizontal placement. Ceramic tiles are placed one after the other in a vertical position, creating an optical illusion of added height and volume in a room. Both of these options can be used across walls and floors.

Running Bond or Brick
Ceramic pieces are installed in an alternating pattern so the vertical cuts fall in the middle of the upper or lower rows. This creates a dynamic effect full of depth and interest.

Displaced Running Bond
In this option, the vertical joint of the tile is moved, resulting in a break in the alignment of the varied pieces. This style subtly shifts from the placement of a traditional running bond and lends to an out-of-the-box design.

Herringbone and Chevron
This installation is created by alternating rows of ceramic pieces placed in an incline right and left. This creates a repeating “V” pattern that is sure to catch the eye.

Triangular Formats
Joining small-format triangle tile at their center points in a succession of rows can create one-of-a-kind compositions. Achieve peak aesthetic potential by alternating colors and formats between each row.

Hexagonal Combination
Placing rows of hexagonal pieces horizontally and vertically achieves a honeycomb-shaped design. This pattern is best accentuated with the use of contrasting colors, textures and finishes.

Multi-Format Combination
For an eccentric effect full or volume, place tiles of different shapes or sizes in a reoccurring pattern. A large rectangular piece paired with small hexagonal shapes will establish a rich visual appearance.
