Austin CEU – The Great Outdoors: New Growth for Ceramics

Join Tile of Spain for The Great Outdoors: New Growth for Ceramics, an informative lunch and learn CEU session about the future of ceramics.

We often think ceramic tile when in the arenas of kitchen and baths, but exciting developments in the sector are positioning tile to be the go-to material choice for exterior cladding and paving solutions in 2017. From gauged thin porcelain panels to ½” thick pavers, ceramics now have the perfect formats and performance to tackle the external skin and landscape of your projects.

Presented as a special offer with the Facades+AM Austin sponsored by Architects Newspaper.  A complimentary lunch will be served and CEU credits will be provided. The session takes place immediately the morning Facades+AM morning forum.
In this CEU session attendees will discover together the basics of these new formats from every angle including; production methods, baseline performance details, industry standards present and future, systemic design applications, impacts to building performance as well as installation methods and contractor adoption rates. Ceramics have applications far beyond showers and backsplashes today, in fact with the proper application of these new innovations; tile can become an integral part of your next building’s functional systems while offering unified design across thresholds inside and out.
