For the 23rd year, Tile of Spain branded manufacturers will exhibit their newest products at Coverings, setting the tone for ceramic tile innovation. Visitors to the 18,000-square-foot Pavilion of Spain will experience cutting-edge technology, sustainable design and diverse architectural solutions, as more than 30 ceramic and stone manufacturers unleash the latest products and innovation from Spain.


Activities at the Tile of Spain information and hospitality booth #1903:

  • Tile of Spain annual press conference on Wednesday, April 28, noon to 3 pm. Topics discussed include the state of the Spanish ceramic tile industry, the new campaign and a presentation of trends for 2010 by Patti Fasan. Lunch will be served from 2-3 pm.
  • Daily educational seminars held by Tile of Spain CTC Patti Fasan. See full details below.
  • All guests are invited to savor authentic Spanish tapas, wine and other refreshments every day of the show from noon to 2 pm.
  • Join Tile of Spain for Happy Hours from 4:30-5:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday.


Also in the Spanish Pavilion booth #1723, TAU Ceramica will hold a press conference on Wednesday, April 28 from 3-4 pm to announce a partnership with prestigious international designer Karim Rashid in the NO-Stalgia Collection.   Educational Focus The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturer’s Association (ASCER) has for more than ten years devoted a significant amount of energy and resources to continuing education within the U.S. ceramic tile industry. This educational focus continues with Patti Fasan, Certified Ceramic Tile Consultant and 20-plus year industry veteran, who will share her vast experience at the Tile of Spain information and hospitality booth #1903: Competitive Spirit: The Road to Recovery – If there is a glimmer of light at the end of the economic tunnel, are you ready? Will you recognize the needs of a changed consumer, and be positioned to deliver? Have you discovered new frontiers in ceramic tile applications, are you present?
