Tile Trends: Encaustic and Hydraulic Cement Looks

Encaustic and hydraulic cement styles are making a comeback in tile. Spanish tile manufacturers are on the forefront of this ceramic tile trend. Available in a wide variety of colors and geometric patterns, hydraulic looks continue to attract attention. From distressed antique to contemporary colors, the mixed pattern look was seen at both Cevisama and Coverings 2014 on walls, floors and counter surfaces.

Vanguard Rise series from Aparici reaches towards the sky as an accent wall in this restaurant space.
