Spanish tile presents us with another tile trend makes an easy transition to commercial and residential spaces – that is the vintage look in black.  Black, gray and white colored vintage tile designs were presented by a number of Tile of Spain manufacturers at the annual Cevisama trade show in Valencia, Spain.

Vintage patterns express the ultimate in personalization. And here again, Spain pushes the boundary. Adding centuries of patina through the art of ink jet, or modernizing a traditional look with today’s gray and black palettes.

Examples of the vintage black tile look include the Vives Tassel series, as seen to the right in gray, the Aparici Moving series, seen below and in detail, and the La Platera Project series.
